Pink Season

April is one of the most beautiful season in Japan. For only one or two weeks, cherry blossoms makes a full power of blooming around. Everywhere is pink. Every little towns and villages have local festivals.

My uncle emailed me about cherry blossoms season, I realised that I have not been back in Japan in this season for over 6 years.

In Dublin (you know what I am about to say), it still goes minus degree at night and I think this year is unusual. Can someone help making a weather better here?

I would like to share Japanese Sakura (cherry blossoms) view with you guys. Let's see... How about these links?

Japan Guide

Wonderful night view of Sakura

You might ask "when is the season? You said it is only one or two weeks."

Well thats the thing. It is different every year depending on how quickly Spring comes. So TV shows Sakura Forcast in Japan. Even though the forcast in Japan is reliable, some times it comes unpredictably sooner than forcasted. But these festivals needs to be planned in advance, and they sometimes miss it.

I have seen some times in my local town that Sakura Festival turned in to New Leaf Festival as it was not pink anymore....
